Accommodation options
Peebles Hydro offers a variety of room types to suit individuals, couples and families.
Choose from cosy single, double or twin Guest Rooms; more spacious Feature Rooms, some with beautiful views across the Tweed Valley; or the hotel’s largest Signature Rooms. Families can select generously sized rooms sleeping three to six guests, with flexible bed arrangements including single beds, pull-out beds and bunk beds. All rooms include an en-suite bathroom and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Dining
The entire Peebles Hydro Hotel has been exclusively reserved for our Pesach programme, creating a fully kosher and welcoming environment throughout your stay.
Cuisine: Enjoy gourmet dining, with three freshly prepared meals each day, accompanied by table wines and soft drinks. Lavish Kiddushim will be served on Chag and Shabbat, while tea, coffee, and refreshments will also be available all day. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
Kosher supervision
The entire Pesach program is under the strict hashgachah of Rabbi Moshe Rubin, Chief Rabbi of Scotland. A dedicated team of experienced mashgichim will be present throughout the program, overseeing every stage of food preparation and service—from the arrival and storage of ingredients to the kitchens, dining rooms and final presentation of each meal.
This continuous on-site supervision ensures that the highest standards of kashrus are maintained at all times, allowing guests to enjoy the full dining experience with complete confidence and peace of mind. All meals will be Glatt Mehadrin, non-Gebrochts and free from Kitniyot.
Religious info
A full synagogue and daily minyan will be available on site, with services led by our program rabbis and chazzanim. Davening will primarily follow Nusach Ashkenaz, with Nusach Sefard options offered at selected services.
Guests can also enjoy daily shiurim, engaging lectures and special religious events throughout the program. A choice of private, semi-private “family” and communal Seders allows everyone to celebrate in the setting that suits them best.
Entertainment
Peebles Hydro offers plenty of opportunities to relax, stay active and enjoy time together throughout your Pesach stay. Guests can swim in the 20-metre indoor pool, with a separate children’s pool for younger guests, work out in the fully equipped gym, or enjoy a game on the outdoor tennis courts.
Those looking to unwind can book a treatment at the hotel’s spa, while the stunning surrounding Scottish countryside offers beautiful routes for walking and cycling. A range of outdoor activities directly at the hotel, including archery, axe throwing and alpaca experiences, can also be enjoyed.
